Linda Katehi

Linda Katehi was named UC Davis chancellor in August 2009 after a distinguished career at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Purdue University and the University of Michigan.   Chancellor Katehi earned her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in her native Greece and went on to earn her master’s and doctoral degrees in electrical engineering from UCLA. Her work in electronic circuit design has led to numerous national and international awards and she has 19 U.S. patents, and five U.S. patent applications.
