Ron Herring

Ron Herring has worked mostly in South Asia on agrarian issues, for example his first book Land to the Tiller: The Political Economy of Agrarian Reform in South Asia.  He has served as Chair of Cornell’s Department of Government and Director of International Studies. He is editor of Transgenics and the Poor [London 2008] and The Oxford Handbook of Food, Politics and Society [forthcoming].
